On Saturday, November 29th at 12:50pm, step into the heat at our Sligo location for a unique 95 minute guided sauna session.

Led by our experienced sauna guides, you’ll be taken on a journey through powerful worldwide sauna traditions:

Pirtis 
Pirtis is a Lithuanian sauna tradition which uses hot rocks, steam and whisking. Whisking is a traditional bodywork that is performed by brushing the body with whisks made of small plant branches and hot steam.

Saunotus
Finnish Saunotus is a guided, multisensory ritual that weaves together mythology, meditation, herbal healing and bodywork. The sauna guide is a servant of the löyly and the sauna. The löyly being the steam, the spirit and the life of the sauna. 

Aufguss 
Aufguss is German for “infusion”. It is a multi-sensory sauna ritual using towels, essential oils, ice and music. The Sauna Guide uses rhythmical towel movements to circulate fragrant air around the sauna.
